Question:

I want to write own software for the kit B210 in Visual BASIC 6. How can I drive for the parallel port?

Answer:

Drive the LPT1 port with the inpout32.dll with the address &h378. Normaly &h378 is the hexadecimal address of the first parallel port. Plaese check the address in the system control of your computer. If another address should been shown there, then please take these.
The instruction to drive of the LPT1 port looks as follows:

Out & H378, x

(x is for the data line, 1 drives line 0, 1 line 2 etc.)

At the parallel port you can get the voltage with a messuring instrument from the pins 2-9 (+) to pin 25 (-) (5 volts for signal (H) or 0 volts for no signal (L)).
Please notice the description of the kit!

Question:

I would like to use text parts from an item description. Is there a way to copy the text?

Answer:

If you want to copy text parts from an item description, it will be able like following:

  1. Open the file with the ACROBAT-READER. (The further description starts out of the use of this program.)
  2. Choose the text-utility, it is the symbol with the big "T" in the symbol bar
  3. Mark the text parts.
  4. Copy the marked text. (The right mouse button opens the context menu.)
  5. Insert the copied text in your word processing program.

At some descriptions it is not possible to copy the text in principle. You can download a list from which you can take this information.
